We all have our reason we all have our reasons for extreme lighting but I have two that to me are more important than all the others.

First, I can think of nothing else I can do to give joy to so many people in such a short period of time. The smiles on the face of a child is worth every hour spent on Ridge Harbor Christmas. Then there are the adults, young and old alike leave feeling better than when they arrived. What better satisfaction is there?

Second, long after I am gone from this world my children will remember their lights. Every Christmas they will think of the long hours, frustration and joy of their dad as he made his visions for a bright Christmas come to life. And if I live long enough my grandchildren will remember as well.

Those are the reasons that are most important to me.
